Taking their cue from funk, soul, Motown, reggae, and progressive rock, ghost heart snake has cultivated a danceable, groove based style that is sure to turn heads. The ten songs on their first record have an instant catchy, pop appeal and display the band’s versatility and immense musical talent. Their live shows are powerhouse performances coupled with their crowd-winning onstage personalities and jaw-dropping musical improvisation.
No strangers to large audiences, the members of ghost heart snake have over four decades of combined performing experience. They have shared the stage with such Atlanta and Athens staples The Shut-Ups, Commander Chameleon, The Apostles, The Brian Wiltsey Band, MD, Stankhooliganz, Ice Cream Socialists, and the Ums. ghost heart snake also doubles as Slip Tripman, a cover band active in the Atlanta circuit that constantly flexes its musical muscles by cultivating an incredibly diverse setlist while providing a dynamic show.
Although Slip Tripman is still active on the cover band circuit, ghost heart snake is paving the way for our funky, danceable grooves and melodic hooks.
